Casting the Compass Dice: You are now about to throw the THIRD Die in the Divinity Dice. You have determined what ELEMENT you are working with using the 6 sided Dice. This next level qualifies the House your question falls into Let us suppose we are asking a question of Love, and the 6 have been thrown for the Element… it is WOOD. That is easy… Home, family… all to do with Love. But now you have thrown the 8 sided Dice and the South West aspect of Home and Business has NOT come up… Rather the South East has appeared… This is the House of Security / Adventure. Obviously, these two generally oppose each other, so your question of Love comes to its first stumbling block. Will you choose Security or Adventure in this relationship? Maybe the South came up, which asks about communication … Is it just Sex, or is a greater communication coming about. Maybe it was the North that appeared? We look at how this Love fits in with our Individual nature… Or maybe it is a very practical love? Is there a way to allow the practicality, yet keep the individuality clear for both parties?? Can you see how the question modifies before you get to the Interpretations? We list the houses below. We note that each aspect of the Compass represents not just a “House” but a Note of Music as well. In all the Eight “Houses” equate to an Octave of notes, but we would need to have a basic understanding of Music Theory and Numerology to grasp how this applies to each individual.
