Icosahedron   (20 Sided Dice)

The 20 Sided Dice Game

This is one of the most basic and simplest of all the Dice games in this book.

Let’s imagine a question: “Will I do best to continue in my present employment, or should I take the new job offer made yesterday?” It’s a common question, and now let’s look at what the dice say!

This is a three throw game. You throw the 20 sided dice three times. The first throw result goes into the “Past” box. The second throw is added to the first and goes into the “Present” box. The third throw is added to the sum of the first and second throws, and goes into the “Future” box.

PAST

PRESENT

FUTURE

EXAMPLE: You take your 20 sided dice, and roll it to see what comes up. Let’s say you first roll the number 17. (Write it down in the Present box.) Then you roll the number 7. Add 7  + 17 and write the sum down in the Past Box) and then you roll the number 13. Add 13 + 7  + 17 and write this sum into the Future Box.

 This gives the three numbers:

Present: 17 … 7 + 17 =  Past: 24 … 13 + 7 + 17 = Future: 37

PRESENT

PAST

FUTURE

17

24

37

Now simply keep your question in mind as you look up the meanings for these numbers in the COMPOSITE NUMBER area of the book.
